Water Lily Envy

I’m hoping with all my heart that now the veggie patch is totally enclosed I will be able to safely grow some water lillies.   My friend Andrew was delighted that this beautiful specimen was still open when we arrived for dinner tonight.  He also had some pet goldfish swimming around in the bowl so even they may be an option now that the birds won’t be able to raid the tank :)
