The only one in the world
Not surprising, one might say! I made this little stained glass racehorse and jockey about 40 years ago for my father who moonlighted as a bookmaker's clerk (penciller). I had gone to TAFE to learn rudimentary stained glass techniques. I happened upon a drawing of the racehorse in a children's colouring book and decided to use it as a pattern for Dad's birthday gift. He was really chuffed, although he said the horse would never win a race - something about wrong body proportions! It hung on the window above his desk until the day he died.
