Shortages

As every Tuesday, I went to Huddersfield today to do my Dad's shopping. For the first time in my experience, several supermarket shelves were empty and there were items on his list I could not buy. Of course this may be due to poor weather or other practical problems.  Or, it may be something more, shall we say, structural.

I left the supermarket and walked into the Town Centre, taking a few photographs on the way such as this one of the Market Place and one of a back alley, for contrast. I tried in two shops to buy the things I couldn't obtain from the supermarket, without success.

Later, a stroll in more snow flurries turned into a pleasant afternoon, on which I managed a new angle of Hollingworth Lake.
