In spate

Recent rain has resulted in some local raging torrents. This one is the outflow from
Hollingworth Lake, usually a modest rivulet.

Today’s achievement was the assembly of a wooden-framed futon, for one of the “done-up” bedrooms. Why don’t the companies selling such items use more stickers saying helpful things like “this way up” and “mind you don’t trap your fingers”?
