Low tide

Another very cold day but no frost or snow.  I spent most of the day reading my novel for tomorrow so a relaxing day.  Just before lunch I went for a quick stroll down to the beach and the river estuary.  It was low tide and I had images of 'earth' on my mind for todays Wide Wednesday challenge.  The other option of wind wasn't on as the gale force winds of yesterday had died down.  You could interpret earth in many ways ie the planet earth or meaning soil.  I decided that the muddy banks when the tide was out could be interpreted as earth and this was taken alongside the river estuary.

Glad to say the book was finished and enjoyed.  Camera club tonight we have two of our members giving presentations.
