BACK GATE

Sometimes it was like this, and sometimes it was lovely and sunny.

I went for a walk while the sun shone and was pleased to see that the modest group of redwings in the cemetery seems to have grown into a large flock. I assume that if they've flown into Hartlepool with the help of the easterly winds, the cemetery is the first large green area with mature trees that they'll come to. Anyway, they seem to like it there which is good, and there's enough space for them (and me) not to be bothered by the families who were tobogganing down the slopes there and having a good time.
