Puffed up.

This little chap looks all puffed up against the cold today.

I decided I NEEDED a walk with my camera along the canal bank, I wanted to have a play and get back to enjoying my camera again. We had a bit of 'brutal' (IMO)  judging at the camera club last night, and while I did well enough and agreed with much of what was said, there are ways of saying things, and last night I didn't feel was the right way.

Anyway, I had a fabulous time and sat on a bench by a little tree with feeders. The Robins were so tame, and came very close I actually had trouble getting them in the frame. They were literally a couple of inches from my feet, and joined me on the bench.

It was all good practice as these little birds were so fast, and my reactions are never quite fast enough hitting the button. I must go back again sometime.

Birds have featured a few times in my blips now, and I must confess to actually having enjoyed snapping them. I have to add some extras as I'm quite pleased with what I got.
