Yup, yesterday was a doozie and by the look on +1/2's face it's a bit of a rocky transition back to work again after having the best long weekend.

Beavers & Cubs last night. If you've ever wondered where the word lunatic comes from, well, let's just say the behaviour of the Beavers is markedly worse when it's a full moon. Same for high winds; +1/2 was a secondary teacher for a long time and used to come home complaining about the children whenever it was windy.

Off to first responder training tonight with some suitably gruesome pictures of full thickness burns, nains through fingers, compound fractures, ...
