Deep freeze

I’m told it was minus six. My car said minus three on the short drive home.

It was lethal. I saw one of the dog walkers take a tumble and it brought all this social distancing home. The instinct is to rush over and help someone to their feet ! Luckily she was fine. 

The light and colour was fantastic. The spring shoots of green and gold shimmered against the sharp angles . 

I even took a selfie (extra).

I walked to the point where you have a view of Lichfield Cathedral. It was stunning. And a vital boost for the senses.

I got some photos for Seth on my way home. A builders merchant was blocking the very narrow icy road as he offloaded a big container via his winch. It’s not only tractors he loves.
