Flowers in Aliveri

A gradual change in the weather..
Still mild but cloudy and more windy and a downpour in the middle of the day. I was quite glad that the walk I had arranged to do with a friend had been cancelled. Instead I went to Aliveri to do some shopping etc and leave a boot to be repaired.
I spotted these cheerful osteospermum in a small square there - I love the colour, quite unusual.
There was a drive - through testing centre in operation today there, due to the rapid increase in Covid cases on Evia, and was attracting large queues... so I steered clear of that part of the town.
I was pleased to be able to book my vaccination first shot today.....for 22nd Feb. A very clear and functional website is up and running now. I could have had it next week but  the vaccination centre is in a village up in the hills and large amounts of snow are forecast there next week... which means the roads may be blocked by snow or ice.
