Snowy Yorkshire

Darren always calls this area in the photo “ Last of the summer wine” country, as it’s where a lot of the scenes from that bbc sitcom we’re filmed.
This footpath is only about a mile from home but there was so much more snow than at home, and home as a lot more snow than areas just a mile further east, which don’t seem to have much at all.
It was bitterly cold, but for Darren it looked spectacular and it lifted his spirits a little, which have been quite low for awhile now. I had a really good run about, the snow was very deep in places.
Darren’s car got stuck on a little hill when we were going home so he had to reverse back to the main road, I keep telling him he needs a land rover:-)
