Sydney Opera House

Walked with friend K from Circular Quay to Double Bay. We’d planned to start at the other end but missed the ferry that runs only once an hour. So the first part of our walk was across the Opera House forecourt, unusually devoid of people.

Extra is Fort Denison, formerly a rocky island called Pinchgut where convicts did solitary on short rations, taken from the ferry home.

Edit: Missed the opportunity to blip a bunch of big white roses stuffed headfirst into a bin.
