Bread shopping

A trip into town to the fish shop and then out to the bakery at Cley for a sourdough loaf.  The bakery is just past the red coloured house but I rather like this one.  It has the traditional Norfolk brick and flint construction and just a nod to the slightly Dutch style of architecture that features in the area, but in particular I love the window in the gable end of the roof.  For a small window at the top of the building which is out of normal sight, it seems completely over-designed, and I wonder why?
