Wigan flashes

Last night at Camera club we had a great speaker from the midlands. His bird photos were superb and the information he gave really informative. His photos were taken locally. (he lives quite near my friend Chris and I have been to some of the places but I now know of more!) It inspired me to get out there and find somewhere locally to take some bird photos. I remembered there was a place called wigan flashes so I looked it up. It was fabulous. I will be back when it's not so cold and the canal may not be frozen up. I had a lovely walk and took some photos as well. So nice walking in a different place and it wasn't crowded. I've put a couple of collages in the extras. It's amazing what is on your doorstep if you only look.
