Giant's footsteps

I went out early and walked with the wind behind me so did the canal circular walk anticlockwise. It looks so different now. The sun came out and there were some nice reflections. The ground was hard and dry so great there was no mud. Spotted this in the middle of the canal, looks like a giant's footstep! Was bitter cold but was lovely to be blown up the hill home. 
Am at a dark skies event tonight on zoom, should have been on the Aurora Borealis but that's been cancelled. have a couple more next week.
