Zip line!

Great last day of school for both boys (not that the youngest had any online lessons, so he had a pretty easy day).  The eldest had a great English lesson and got full marks for spelling.  Good to be ending on a high for them.  

Park for the boys this afternoon - it was so cold!  The fishing lake was frozen with ducks standing on the ice in the middle of it.  We had some fun trying to break the ice, but only broke the stick we were using.  The boys kept warm running around the park - there was no-one else in the play-area! I kept warm by running around as well.  

Home for hot chocolate and hot water bottles under a blanket to warm up! 

Today I'm grateful for: 
The end of the half-term and cracking home learning to some success
Finding a toy that was lost in the park last time we were there 2 weeks ago, I'm amazing it was exactly where it fell into the flooded water (delighted children!)
