We are not amused

It's raining, I've been out twice and it still hasn't stopped. It's not good enough. Kindly get your act together.

A grey and dismal day. A brief outing to buy essential food, reading, and mosaicing (nearly finished). There was a very interesting article in the Guardian about Stonehenge, featuring an archaeologist I once worked with. It appears possible that the circle was first constructed in Wales (explaining the provenance of some of the stones) and was then transported to Salisbury Plain. Fascinating! For sure there is still much to learn about these monuments that seem so well known. There's going to be a documentary about this on BBC2 this evening, for those who can get it.
