White-out

Just in case you think it's always sunshine and blue skies here ... this evening's "sunset". You might just be able to see the horizon if you peer closely.

S "just" tested positive this morning. "It took longer to show up", he said. He doesn't have symptoms apart from feeling tired and out of sorts. I tested negative again, so I went to the outdoor intercambio. Nice to get out and talk to some new people.

The weather was fairly dismal though. I cooked espinacas con garbanzos for lunch, and S made a dish he'd seen on TV. Hot avocados with shaved white chocolate, with the addition by him of a drizzle of molasses and some pineapple. Verdict: don't try this at home. Actually it was all fine apart from the avocado.

Later I went out and did a little shopping, but other than that it has been an uneventful day. More knitting was done. Some entertainment: today's track from Tidal, Bolero Triste, featuring local (to us in France) cellist Mathieu Saglio. We saw him live some years ago -- excellent. I believe he now lives in Valencia. Let's hope we can soon start going out and about again!
