Worth every penny

I bought this "Smart Charger" three or four years ago when the battery in our caravan was looking a little poorly, indicating 11.7v.  I was very concerned that I might have to buy a new one, a bit of a stinger at over £100, just because I had allowed it to drain to a damaging voltage.

I spent about £60 on this device and over a period of several days it recharged the battery, apparently repairing the plates to begin with but then charging it at the right rate.  And the same battery remains in the caravan, sitting comfortably at 12.5v with a trickle charge from a solar panel.

Well, with the cars doing so little running, this comes out to coax life back into the batteries and it takes only a few hours per car.  I feel almost mechanic-like . . .
