Get a Grip

Hang on in there, and mind you don't slip
as Jack Frost freezes every last drip.
Round the corner is spring
when the birds start to sing
and, like children, they'll run, jump and skip.

Very cold today. Even the light wind feels bitter. There's ice on top of the snow making it very slippery underfoot. Again, lots of bird activity in the garden, and many beaks filled with mealworms. 

My Extra insisted on being included for Silly Saturday, in memory of admirer. Little Miss B had been wearing her sunhat (as you do indoors in snowy February), when she decided it would look better on her toy teapot.
