Flipping Freezing!

Thank you for the response to yesterday’s Wren. Delighted to find it on page two of popular.

The was a bitterly cold wind blowing this morning. The powdery snow was redistributed on the field  tops making it look like freshly fallen snow. A bit of a challenge to run through!

Back home for a welcome cuppa. I took Jet out for a short walk to investigate some of the icicles that have appeared in the disused quarry cum bike park. Always fascinated by the patterns generated.

Time for a spot of cleaning before a trip to York. Despite being well managed the vaccination centre was incredibly busy. It took an hour of queuing in the car to get parked up. From then on the turn round was a relatively quick 20 minutes. The Astra-Zeneca vaccine was used and fingers crossed that apart from a slightly sore arm there are no other side effects.
