It’s a whole new world...

Moving 8 miles to the other side of Petersfield has as I keep saying puts us in a whole new landscape. I have never even heard of Chapel Common which is a vast range of heathland with birch trees as far as you can see.  I walked up there in the bitter cold in the early morning with my new neighbour.  Went over to Hambledon to make my parents some Shepherd’s Pie and drink tea.  Back at home we had a delicious dinner delivered from a favourite restaurant Luca in Clerkenwell.  It was for Valentine’s Day but we couldn’t wait.. delicious food with a beautiful Italian sparkling rose called 1701 Rosato....dressed up in my finest and pretended it was a party
