Ramp no ramp

This shows the result of 5 days' road resurfacing at sub-zero temperatures - nothing has been done. I would have felt sorry for anyone digging there.

The extra shows the continuing bird story. The fieldfare is well settled in and I felt obliged to sacrifice two of my personal stash of apples. I do put Bramleys out for the blackbirds sometimes but they have only been really interested now it is so cold. Parakeets like apples too, and I saw that two parakeets had taken half a small Cox to the arch. They dropped it shortly afterwards.
