Love in a cold climate...

Janet was very impressed I'd got a Valentine card today, because she didn't send me one. Ah well, unrequited love is a well sung song, eh. Her card was a bit larger than I expected, as I ordered the wrong size and it turned out to be a couple of foot wide! It was a play on the shot of exactly a month ago, when we were both masked up in the motorway underpass.

Who said romance was dead...?

Our walk this morning was brisk. The wind was howling past our ears and the rain on the return walk added an additional pleasure. In the fields, seagulls and crows hid from the weather like salt and pepper on the newly thawed green grass, taking to the sky and dancing in the winds. Not entirely unlike today's composite shot.

...a bit of dereliction for Sunday.
