Moby Grape

Moby Grape were a US West Coast band who came to brief prominance in 1967. Over-hyped by their record company, they duly crashed and burned. I've been working on a piece about the group today, trying to get it right. I love their music, not because it's obscure, but because it is good. Judge for yourselves.The pre chat between Skip Spence and producer David Rubenstein is lovely. This group should have been bigger. They had great harmonies.
