Trying to make friends

No sign of a thaw first thing this morning  but the real bonus was no black ice which had been forecasted.

I'm sure that the swans and geese will be longing for the loch to be ice free again and they can once  more move freely through the water.  As I neared the end of my walk you could see that in certain areas a film of water was forming on top of the ice .... things are beginning to warm up.

Not very nice outside ..... wet and windy .... my least favourite weather conditions. The snow which has covered my garden for a week is now all but gone.
