Ramblings in Life

The stunning weather continued into Sunday. A friend and I had planned to head to the mountains, but the cold snap had (unsurprisingly) caused disruption to transport. Instead we headed out from the front door, with the temperature sat at -16C as we set off.

After another eventful trip across the frozen lakes, we came to a vista looking across to this forest. The cold temperature overnight had caused this ice to form on every tree. It was an amazing sight, and worth the cold hands.
