It’s always a relief to spot the first green shoots that herald spring ,the reassurance that the lighter days are coming .
I bought a few of these pots of flowers to spread the joy .

I felt so unwell yesterday , high temperature, with shivers and aches . I couldn’t imagine being able to manage the walk planned with one of my friends today . However,I awoke feeling completely recovered ! My immune system is doing it’s job and again I feel very grateful .

The walk through the woods and green pastures was very pleasurable, the company of a good friend plus being out and about in nature . We will be celebrating 39 years of friendship this year , we carry one another’s stories . More gratitude !

Just need to eat a bar of dark , salted caramel chocolate to finish off a grand day .
