Nell is not happy about sharing HER Daddy with the other two!! And they can stay away from her fire as well!!

Mike was out early for a bike ride so I took the kids down to the yard to get Jack in and put hay out and smash the ice on the water troughs.

Back home I cleaned two out of three sets of tack. Eva was keen to learn how to do it, but quickly sidled off when she discovered it's messy and not much fun! Left limes for another day as that's the muckiest.

This afternoon I had a lesson with Ruth. Buddy had two massive spooks in the school before Ruth arrived and nearly had me off. There was a pigeon sat on top of one of the trailers but other than that there didn't seem to be any point to it. My lesson was mostly chatting through some of the issues we're having, mainly the horrible head tossing that's back. Have done all the usual checks so convinced it's down to the way he goes and the way I ride him. Am trying to be better for him. We talked a lot about riding with your mind and the need to change my attitude/reaction to what he does. We didn't get above a walk but did get him to stretch out his neck and lengthen his stride, so that's positive. Before I knew it, my half hr was up.

Mike took the kids for a little hack on Jack whilst I had my lesson so was there to help with all the jobs which was good as feeling really tired and got a bit of an upset stomach. Feeling a bit overwhelmed tonight :0/
Radiotherapy starts tomorrow.
