What a fantastic but exhausting day! 

We left the hotel about 9am and didn't get back till 11pm. Packed so much into today. 

First off was the Tower of London. Our beefeater tour guide was awesome and very funny and really helped to bring the place alive. We did the tour first then looked around. Loved seeing the crown jewels. 

Had a nice pub lunch then a browse at Covent garden to watch the street performers whilst Mike trekked back to the pub as he'd left the rucksack under the table! 

Got to the Natural History Museum later than planned. Had to pre-book tickets as it's half term so very busy everywhere. We've been before but kids don't remember it too well and we didn't manage to see much before it was kick out time. 

Then it was off to the theatre to see Back to the Future. Was the best thing I've ever seen on stage. The whole thing was just awesome. Didn't want it to be over. 

Oh and we also met Davina McCall this morning on our way into the tower. She was lovely and chatty. She was there to interview Tom Daly who was doing a comic relief challenge part of which was canoeing down the Thames.
