Iced trough

It has felt like spring today. So much warmer and the sun has shone. The ice in our water trough at the front has begun to melt creating changing effects through the day.
Some intensive saxophone practice both on the soprano and tenor this morning and afternoon, as well as getting into the garden for some intensive pruning of an old and overgrown shrub. It needed cutting back on one side to remove the overhang where the new greenhouse will be sited, but also requires thinning out. I also ordered some replacement ventilators for the sofits as the plastic of the old ones had become brittle and the are falling apart. They arrived at lunch time so have also been installed. A productive day.
