Redwings on The Stray

A little sadness today when I woke up this morning to the fog, after that amazing ice, but how a day can turn round. The sun came out, I walked out in the afternoon (without my waterproof!) and there was a flock of redwings on The Stray.  For me these transient visitors are a sign of spring, the hellebores are looking lovely and although ‘my’ ponds still had some ice on them I could feel the thaw - warmth and light returning to the land - and I can easily embrace that

Still struggling to get the new camera to pair with my phone - my brother in Australia has been recruited to help at the weekend - that could be fun and games!
