Thé Quiraing

We woke this morning to a pair of distant sea eagles and snow capped mountain tops.
A beautiful drive over Skye, past Portree and the Old Man to the Quiraing, a ‘Lord of the Rings’ feel landscape of rocky pinnacles, cliffs, waterfalls and swathes of green.
Beautiful sunny day with the occasional squalls - snow and hail - fortunately short lived!
We walked out to the ridge, with fabulous long range views, and a distant white tailed eagle.
