Busy buzzy bees.

The temperature has changed dramatically and today, for the first time this year, I've seen honey bees flying and making great use of this Mahonia Japonica. The neighbours to this garden do have a hive.

I finished pruning the apple trees and then drove home without lights, another first for 2021. I was reminded recently that my dad used to say if the day was bright and he left work on time then St Valentine's Day was usually the first day of the year he could do the same, it rang true for me today.
