Opening up

The landowner nearby has cut the holly away from the outlook down to the village.  There is so much holly that it hardly matters and they have now heavily coppiced the hazel.  I spoke to the person doing it and they are hoping it will encourage the wild flowers on this walk. We’ll see.   This is a permissive path, many of which wind through the heath and woodland. A precious gift.
