Cormorant

Anxious to see how the seal was I went back to the river mid morning. There was no sign of the seal in the lock, but that does not mean it was not around somewhere else. I did spot this rather lovely Cormorant. I don't think I have seen one with a white head before. Other than pulling out the shadows a bit I have not enhanced this image at all.
