No snow, but still cold (1,500th entry)

We passed this field early in out countryside walk today and I stopped to take a photo of the colt.  Before I could take a second shot the mare (i presume) had come forward to the fence and had begun to nudge the colt away from the fence while the stallion in the background was neighing.  I moved on rather quickly.
