Every picture tells a story ...

The wonderful long snowy walk to Duddingston Village last Friday was a great clear blue winter’s day out. A minor misstep on the snowy pavement caused no discomfort at the time but by the evening was uncomfortable. For the next three days I rested the leg and applied ice packs at regular intervals. This morning the pain and swelling prompted a call to NHS Direct. After an hour on the phone I was offered an X-ray at ERI. I traveled there by taxi. The service was excellent. The x-ray showed no fractured bones. Home to more rest and elevation.

The FM is not rushing to let us out of lockdown anytime soon. I am pleased, though, that the youngest children are heading back to their classrooms next week.
