Wind Drift

Another single digit day (temperature wise) with no light to speak of. In these harsh conditions it remains a challenge just to walk down the road, let alone explore further. And taking photographs becomes pot luck with restricted movement and impaired vision.

But I did like the curves and shapes in this bank of snow, left as an imprint by the constant wind, a solitary shrivelled leaf untouched in a hollow.

The dark speck reminded me of a skiing instructor who implored us to look away from rocks lest we were drawn towards them.
