Release

Finally, winter seems to have released its grip. Today was sunny all day and not too cold, although still well below freezing.

I went out as the sun started to go down and the raking light made some nice textures in the snow. A fresh fall had made everything smooth again, simplifying the scene and backlighting brought out the shapes of the mounds of snow.

I had to tone down some of the brighter reflections which were distracting.
