Well, I'll be ....

In a way I'm disappointed because I really wanted to see the 'pillar making the pupa.  But it's been so hot, and to be quite honest, I thought I'd lost him.  But I had a really good look when I was outside watering this evening, and see what I found.

No wonder they are so hard to see.  You would swear it was just a bit of broken twig.

I'll keep a very close check from now on, and try and monitor the changes.Apparently the time span can vary from a couple of weeks to four weeks if the weather is cool.
