Redshank

Just a walk along the Kirkwall seafront today. There was a cold, strong south wind blowing and this bird, along with another dozen or so redshanks and about eight turnstones were keeping out of the wind in the breakwater. I liked this bird's stance and the blue water background (or backwater).
