Bakewell Bridge
It is always a busy day, the day after coming back from a trip away for a week. It looks like I brought the weather home with me!
This is a bit of a desperate blip as I had totally forgotten to do one, so I quickly went to Bakewell down the road and shot the bridge. It was such a dull shot, I messed a little with it. I do like the couple looking over the parapet.
The Grade I listed five-arched bridge over the River Wye at Bakewell was constructed in the 13th century, and is one of the few surviving remnants of this period. There we are, at least I managed a bit of history!!
