ABSTRACT THURSDAY - SHAPES
I don’t think that we will be going out for a walk today because the rain is lashing down, yet again, the wind is howling even through closed windows and I think I’m better off sitting on top of the bed, wrapped in my pink robe, having just had my shower.
I’ve said before, that sometimes in these challenging times and especially during a lockdown when we are legally only allowed out once a day to exercise, we need to be inventive. Looking out of the window a few minutes ago with the rain beating against the it, there were some lovely patterns shapes on the window and as I looked down onto the conservatory roof my thought was, “Blip sorted for Abstract Thursday!”
Who knew that raindrops on a window and the finials on top of a conservatory roof could look so good as an abstract?
Lent officially started yesterday and whilst a lot of people give things up for Lent, I prefer to do something positive - so this year, using the saying from “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”, I am going to “phone a friend” each day to have a chat and to encourage them; I actually started the day before Ash Wednesday, on Shrove Tuesday, when I rang four friends.
So, if I know your telephone number, don’t be surprised if you get a call from me - and if I don’t know your number, and you fancy a chat - email it to me and I will add you to the list!
“Emails get reactions;
phone calls start conversations.”

P.S. Thank you for all your kind comments, stars and hearts for my entry for JoeTreeDay2021 - all of which were much appreciated. x
