Relief

More heavy rain beating at the windows for much of the night and morning. But, later the world appeared in a different light - bright light and sunshine!

I seized the moment and took my daily walk. The verges are scattered with snowdrops and now daffodils. It seems now, that in the summer we are so spoiled with colours; whilst at this time of year, when the vegetation has been mauled by wind, rain, and freezing temperatures, we appreciate each little cluster of colourfulness that we encounter.
