An apple a day

This squirrel, not content with nibbling the apple on the spike it was on, ripped the fruit off the table completely. It was probably at an awkward gnawing angle for him.

I was delighted to see three long-tailed tits on the fat blocks over several periods today. The starling had also brought three friends. It's nice to see a few of them at a time.

This afternoon's excursion was to M&S in Streatham Hill with a stop at Fish Tale for tuna steak. It's such a lovely wee shop full of delicious things. I don't normally shop in this locality but it's so near. I'm going to visit more often. At M&S I stocked up on hot cross buns. The weekend has begun!
