to Reflect on the Vikings

The authorities are keeping very quiet about where this magnificent wrist band was found.  This is the first day that it is being exhibited at the Manx Museum.

It is hard to believe that something so precious and beautiful is over a thousand years old and was possibly found nearby.

I know the lady metal detectorist who found it.  A couple of years ago she came to our house and ran her detector over our garden.  She found an old tin can....
