Springing!

Spring is coming - this bush is self seeded in the barrel the bird feeders are set in - I don't think it’s related to the seed, more likely from their droppings . Whatever it is, it is growing quite large and gives the birds somewhere other than my washing to perch on, so I am happy to have it. Amazing really as I have never put any soil in the barrel - I filled it with rubble  when I put it there over 15 years ago. The extra shows it during the summer
