Gate

We decided to use our walk today to hand deliver a Get Well card to a friend who had a fall and broke her arm, nose and front tooth as well as ending up with concussion. It was a glorious summer’s day, so of course we had to stop for an ice cream at Mission Bay on the way home.  We managed to walk 12km, which was quite good in the heat, and saw this old gate on a street in Orakei. In the afternoon we watched today’s two Prada Cup races on the iPad, whilst keeping an eye on the yachts out on the water from our balcony.  Sadly, Luna Rossa demolished Ineos Team UK and will be the Challenger against Emirates Team NZ for the America’s Cup, starting on the 6th of March.
