Covid Tests
One of the Covid research team phoned last night to ask if they could carry out our monthly test today.
It will be interesting to see the results after the vaccine. Though Frank won't get any result as the man couldn't get any blood out of him! He tried both arms. Unusual as Frank is usually generous with his blood!
It was meant to be a rainy day but it's actually been quite nice. Maybe the clouds had rained themselves dry after last night when it was battering against the window panes.
I've done the Febcreate drawing and after I've done this Blip I'm going to knit the rib of the back of my jumper for the third time! The first time I forgot to use smaller needles than the main part. The second time I used the correct needles but the wrong weight wool! (I had bought the same colour wool in both DK and Aran weight). Now I have both the needles and the wool correct so here goes!
Tonight we'll watch the final part of 'Finding Alice'. On the other side 'The Great' will be recorded. We've been enjoying both.
We also watched the final part of 'It's a Sin' on Friday. What an excellent drama that was but so very sad. I remember when HIV/AIDS first hit the headlines in 1981. The reaction was much the same as the reaction last year when Corona Virus first reared its ugly head. Shock, disbelief, suspicion, conspiracy theories, stress, anxiety. The world has had to learn to live with the threat of HIV/AIDS and I suppose the same will happen with Covid for the foreseeable future. At least now we have a vaccine which by all accounts will be successful even if we do have to have it twice a year.
Time for a cuppa now.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday :-) X
